In other instances, companies offshore for strategic reasons, such as entering new market or to tap into talent that might not be available domestically or to overcome regulations that might prevent certain activities to be carried out domestically.

There is now an abundance of offshore jobs and offshore services offered by offshore companies available around the world, services such as offshore drilling on an offshore rig, offshore fishing and offshore software development. VoIP can allow you to make a call directly from a computer, most of the Internet providers also offer this service as for free or already included in the bundle package. Some advantage of using VoIP is that you may be able to avoid paying for both a broadband connection and a traditional telephone line but some features depend on your VoIP providers. Also some disadvantage of using VOIP especially if it is plug directly to your broadband connection which is through a cable modem is that it don’t work  during a power outages and if you restart your modem. You could also use a VoIP adapter if you still want to use your traditional phone. If you use a telephone with a VoIP adapter, you'll be able to dial just as you always have, and the service provider may also provide a dial tone.
